Terry (Tarin) Anwar is President and Chief Executive Officer Jay Gaines & Company and has been with the firm since its inception in 1982.

He has successfully recruited exceptionally talented senior professionals for world-class financial firms on the buy and sell sides. Some of these individuals have become luminaries in the industry.

He has broad experience in recruiting for professionals in risk management, investment management / portfolio management, finance, compliance and legal, information technology, and operations.

Prior to joining Jay Gaines & Company, Terry held research roles with the World Bank’s Investment Research Division and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Terry received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Bates College and pursued graduate studies at M.I.T. He is a first generation Bangladeshi American.
